Peppermint Cupcakes

Well Christmas has past and now all that Christmas candy is 50% off!!! So what to do with $1 candy canes??
Cupcakes!!!

Need:

• Dark Chocolate Cake Mix ($1)
• White Icing ($1.50)
• Candy Canes ($1)

Make your cupcakes as usual or for even more peppermint flavor mix 6 of your candy canes crushed in your cake mix.

For a really simple peppermint flavored icing. Crush 6 candy canes and add to white icing. It works best if you but the canes in a bag and that bag inside another bag.

Ice and Enjoy!!

Also really good on sugar cookies!!

 The icing also worked great for iced sugar cookies!!
